Resiliency Circles

Sara Sherman, resiliency specialist, and her horse partners know that adolescence is a time of exciting social and emotional growth. Teens and pre-teens are invited to join the Discovery Horse team in creating Resiliency Youth Circles. With Sara and the horses as guides, the Resiliency Youth Circles will explore the unique challenges of growing up in today’s world and identify effective (and ineffective) strategies for developing self compassion, confidence, empathy, leadership, independence, authenticity, and so much more. Within the protective circle of new equine and human friendships, participants will begin to develop a toolbox of life skills they can carry with them from adolescence to adulthood. Dandelion Farm is a fully operational Equine Engagement Experience facility with a heated arena in which our Resiliency Circles will meet. PLEASE NOTE: Horses are NOT ridden as part of this program.

Resiliency Circles

Sunday, July 2nd
Saturday, July 22nd
Sunday, Aug 20th
Saturday, Aug 27th

5th – 9th grades: 9:30-11:30 am on appointed day unless noted next to the date.

Sessions are $45.
We ask for a minimum requirement of 2 sessions upon registration. Sessions can be any two dates being offered or dates we offer in the future. Part of what we are striving to create with our resiliency circles is a healthy community. Having kids drop in for one session can be more of a disruption then anything. With a two session commitment there is a better chance your child will experience the power of community!
